The car people picture when they say "send a car". The rear cabin is genuinely quiet, the seats recline and heat, and the ride over Santorini's older roads is the smoothest of the three. If you need to take a call between the airport and your hotel without anyone hearing road noise, this is the one.

Range Rover

This is the practical luxury choice on an island like ours. Plenty of the best villas sit at the end of a steep, narrow, half-finished driveway, and a low sedan has to stop at the top and let you walk. The Range Rover does not. Add the raised seating position on the caldera road and it becomes the car guests remember.

A note from the owner

Why only three cars

I kept this list short on purpose. Each of the three answers a different question: the S-Class for silence and a proper rear cabin, the V-Class when the whole group travels together with the luggage, the Range Rover for the steep half-paved driveways in Oia and Imerovigli that a low sedan should not attempt.

The chauffeurs are the same faces every season, they do not comment on who is in the car, and for corporate guests we sign a confidentiality agreement before the first pickup. If none of the three is right for your day, I would rather tell you that than sell you the wrong car.

Airport transfer

Your chauffeur is watching the flight, not the clock. We meet you inside the terminal with a name board, take the luggage, and drive straight to your hotel or villa door. Santorini Airport is small and gets chaotic at peak arrival slots, so the meeting point matters more here than in most places.

Port transfer

Athinios Port at ferry time is the single most stressful place on the island. We send you the exact pickup point in advance with a photo, your chauffeur holds the board, and you skip the crowd at the top of the ramp entirely. Cruise arrivals at the Old Port are handled too, with the cable car or a private water taxi as the link.

Private driver at your disposal

Your private driver and the car stay with you, and the itinerary stays open. Lunch in Pyrgos, a winery, a fitting in Fira, sunset in Oia, dinner wherever you decide at 6pm. You are not paying per stop and you are not negotiating each leg, which is the whole point of hiring a car with a driver rather than taking taxis.

Chauffeur service questions

What is the difference between a transfer and a chauffeur service?

A transfer is one journey, A to B, at a fixed price. A chauffeur service keeps the car and the private driver with you for a half day or a full day, and you decide where you go as the day unfolds. If you have more than two or three stops planned, the day rate is almost always cheaper than booking them separately.

Can I hire a luxury car with a driver for a full day?

Yes. Twelve hours with the car and chauffeur costs EUR 650 for the V-Class, EUR 700 for the S-Class and EUR 850 for the Range Rover. A half day is four hours. If you run over, extra hours are charged at a rate we agree before you start, never afterwards.

Are your chauffeurs licensed and do they speak English?

Every driver is a licensed professional carrying full commercial passenger insurance, and every one of them speaks English. Most have driven this island for years, so they know which road is closed for a wedding and which villa driveway a car simply cannot make.

What happens if my flight or ferry is late?

We track it and adjust. You are not charged for a delay that is not your fault, and there is an hour of free waiting time after landing as standard.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation with a full refund when you cancel 24 hours or more before the pickup. Inside 24 hours, cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. We do our best with last-minute changes, so tell us rather than assuming the answer is no.

Corporate travel, incentives and private events

If you are moving a board, a wedding party, an incentive group or a film crew around the island, we handle the whole ground operation rather than a single car. Multi-vehicle convoys, timed departures, a coordinator on the ground, and one invoice at the end. We also work on net rates with travel advisors, DMCs and concierge teams, so if you are booking on behalf of a client, tell us and we will send the partner rate card instead.
